I began my career in photography as a portrait photographer. I photographed families, high school seniors, children, and maternity both, on location and in studio settings. While I no longer do this in a commercial context, I like to share some of my favorite images as portrait photography was my foundation of everything I learned and what has led me to where I am today.  During my time as a portrait photographer and business owner, my passion and calling was primarily on creating a beautiful session for women who were pregnant. They were my favorite sessions. I now photograph people in a different context; narrative and storytelling at my own accord and inspiration.
